Arne Jacobsen's AJ Wall Sconces are a beautiful addition to any space. They are currently crafted in Denmark by Louis Poulsen and are wired to meet U.S. standards. The base is made of spun steel, while the arm is spun aluminum, resulting in a striking design. The AJ 50 Wall was launched in 2010 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the AJ family's introduction. This family of designs was originally created by Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (now known as Radisson Blu). The AJ 50 Wall stays true to this iconic design while incorporating new LED technology for an energy-efficient lighting option. The fixture emits a soft downward-directed light thanks to its white-painted shade. The recommended 9W LED 3000k bulb is not supplied. If you are looking to light up your outdoor space, an outdoor version is also available.
