Louis Poulsen's 'AJ Mini' table lamp, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (now Radisson Blu), is a highly regarded piece in the world of design. These lamps were integral to the overall aesthetic of the hotel and have become iconic in their own right, particularly the AJ lamps. The lamp comes in various colors including stainless steel, dark green, dark grey, aubergine, light grey, midnight blue, pale petroleum, rusty red, yellow ochre, black, or white, all of which are wet painted. The shade can be adjusted for optimal light distribution, and the lamp accommodates one 10W standard candelabra base LED bulb. It is UL listed and comes with a 7 foot cord (black for all colors except white, which has a white cord) and an on/off switch on the base. The shade is painted white on the inside for a soft, comfortable light. Each lamp is a new, authorized re-edition and comes with a warranty. In-stock lamp lead time is approximately 2-3 weeks, and out of stock lamps may take 6 weeks or more to arrive. Arne Jacobsen, the designer of this lamp, was a renowned modernistic architect and designer from Copenhagen, known for his work in architecture, lighting, furniture, cutlery, door handles, sanitary fixtures, fabrics, and wallpaper patterns. He is responsible for iconic designs such as "The Egg" and "The Swan" chairs.
