This is a pair of modern Italian table lamps called mod. Saffo, created by Angelo Mangiarotti for Artemide during the 1970s. These lamps boast a mouth-blown Murano glass diffuser that fades from white to transparent, making the light source hidden and the beam directed upwards. They also feature a black Murano glass hemisphere on the upper part and a base made of chromed metal ring. Due to the handcrafted nature of the pair, each lamp has a slightly different shape. The lamps are in very good condition, with only light marks on both the metal and the glass. The dimensions of the lamps are 23 x 33 H and 23 x 36 H (in cm).
