Angelo Mangiarotti, a renowned Italian architect and designer, was born in Milan in 1921. After completing his architecture studies at the Politecnico of Milan in 1948, he briefly traveled to the US, where he had the opportunity to meet and be influenced by renowned architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Walter Gropius, and Mies van der Rohe, which contributed greatly to his style and personal growth. One of Mangiarotti's designs from the 1960s is this Lesbo table lamp created for Artemide. The lamp features a brushed aluminum base and a Murano glass diffuser made by VIstosi. The original text detailing the manufacturer, model, and designer of the lamp is located at the bottom of the piece. This lamp is in good condition and is fully original. We suggest using a wooden crate for transportation due to its fragile nature. Additionally, the light can be rewired to meet US standards if requested.
