The Finnish designer Alvar Aalto (1898 - 1976) created this two-tone tripod stool in the 1930s, and Artek began producing it after 1960. The stool consists of a circular seat and three legs made of Finnish birch. A distinctive feature of the design is the curved shape of the legs, which reflects the designer's style. This particular stool is an early two-tone edition from the 1960s, with a unique patina. The dimensions of the stool are approximately 32cm in diameter for the seat and 42cm in diameter including the legs, with a height of approximately 45cm.
