Atmos, a Japanese retailer, has an exceptional ability to create unique collaborations with Nike Sportswear, and the Nike Air Max 1 x atmos "Tiger Camo x Snakeskin" is further evidence of this. By the time this shoe was released in 2013, Atmos had already gained immense popularity with their Air Max designs. Similar to their other collaborations, the Tiger Camo x Snakeskin Air Max 1 stands out boldly in terms of its colors and materials. The colorway, sometimes referred to as "Army Camo," boasts a black toebox, Swoosh and overlay made of a glossy patent snakeskin finish. The "Tiger Camo" pattern in dark green and olive colors extends along the mudguard and collar. The red Nike Air logos on the tongue and heel add an extra touch of style while the classic white midsole completes the look. While the original Air Max 1 was launched in 1987 and turned heads with its transparent Air unit in the heel, Atmos and other collaborators, like them, continue to bring forth original designs that contribute to the energy around contemporary Air Max 1 retro releases. Although the Nike Air Max 1 x atmos "Tiger Camo x Snakeskin" could easily stand alone, Atmos released this colorway in conjunction with another Air Max 1 model featuring both military and animal motifs that refer back to the "Supreme Beast" release from 2006.
