On March 26th, also known as Air Max Day, Nike released the Air Max 1 V SP "Paris Patch" following the earlier release of the "Patch Pack" in March 2015. Nike had recently started celebrating March 26th as an annual nod to one of its most prized lines, the Air Max. The Paris Patch 1 featured a hyperfuse no-sew paneling from the heel to the shoe's entirety, similar to its recently released pack-mates. The toe box boasted a subtle look, thanks to the hyperfuse acting as the mud guard, balancing out the dimension of the shoe. The velcro paneling on the heel and tongue of the shoe allowed customization for wearers, enabling them to choose from several included patches and pay homage to NikeLab city or Nike heritage price of their choice. The Nike Air Max 1 V SP "Paris" Patch sold out rapidly, with a retail price of $120. The light grey and deep navy upper panel colors allowed buyers to wear their customized creations in any season.
