GLINT, being one of the most sought-after members of Team Jordan, it was only natural that CP3 would have his own player version of the Air Jordan 1. A well-established endorser of Jordan Brand, CP3 has been known to debut player edition Jordans on numerous occasions. However, the release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro "CP3" was among the first to have a public release. This Jordan 1 features a combination of blue tones over a white base, reminiscent of the colors worn by North Carolina Tarheels players. While the official colorway is Midnight Navy/University Blue-White, the unique details like Chris Paul's "CP3" logo on the tongue and the subtle white Jumpman logo on the heel make it stand out. The mesh collar around the ankle is also a departure from typical AJ1 releases. Regardless of whether one is a CP3 fan or not, the University Blue Wings logo and Swoosh on the side, coupled with the white toebox and Midnight Navy blue nubuck upper make this colorway very appealing. The Air Jordan 1 High Retro "Chris Paul" edition was released alongside player editions for other Jordan Brand athletes such as Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, and Blake Griffin. It was even spotted on the feet of Chris Paul during one of his bowling tournaments.
