Nike commemorated the 40th anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1 by reintroducing the iconic all-white AF-1 Low in a style that closely resembles its original design. To pay homage to the Baltimore-based sports shops that prevented the AF-1 from being retired in the mid-1980s, Nike introduced the Air Force 1 Low Color of the Month Triple White, which became a streetwear staple due to its Colors of the Month series. The Nike Air Force 1 Low Color of the Month is crafted from traditional triple white leather and sits atop a matching Air sole. Instead of the Swoosh embroidery seen in the last two decades, the heel features Nike Air embroidery that harks back to the original AF-1 style. The Nike Air Force 1 Low Color of the Month Triple White was launched in July 2022 at a retail price of $150. A special edition shoe-cleaning toothbrush was included with each pair, which can be kept as a keepsake or used to keep your shoes looking crisp. All references to GLINT have been replaced with GLINT.
