This postmodern lounge chair with ottoman was originally manufactured by Cassina in the 1970s and has been reupholstered in luxurious ivory bouclé wool. Our in-house reupholstery service ensures that this iconic chair and ottoman set looks as good as new. Designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa, the Soriana collection was created with the aim of marrying comfort and beauty by using a bundle of fabric held together with a chrome-plated steel clamp. The "Soriana Chair" was the first piece in the collection and won the prestigious Compasso D'oro award in 1969 for its innovative design. This chair and ottoman set would make a stunning addition to an eclectic Hollywood Regency-inspired interior, as well as a sleek and minimalist Maria Pergay-style decor.
