The Soriana lounge chair with ottoman, designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa and crafted in Italy by Cassina during the 1970s, showcases a fabulous round and bulky shape - a signature feature of this exquisite piece. The original light brown leather and foam are in great condition and intact. The Soriana series was designed with a primary goal of creating a comfortable feel whereby fabric or leather was held tightly together using chrome-plated metal clamps. The chair has front casters, while the ottoman has four. The Soriana series received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award in 1970. The ottoman's measurements include a height of 14.97 in (38 cm), a width of 31.89 in (81 cm), and a depth of 29.93 in (76 cm), with a comfortable seat height of 14.97 in (38 cm).
