By creating an account, accessing, or using GLINT, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GLINT Ltd.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and in such case "you" and "your" will refer to that organization.
These Terms form a binding legal contract. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, you must immediately cease using our Service and may not create or maintain an account.
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
Refers to the GLINT marketplace platform, website, mobile applications, and all related services operated by GLINT Ltd.
Any individual or entity that accesses or uses the GLINT platform, including buyers, sellers, and browsers.
A user who has successfully completed our KYC verification process and has been approved for full marketplace access.
High-end, premium items including but not limited to art, designer fashion, luxury watches, fine jewelry, collectibles, and luxury vehicles.
The process of verifying the authenticity, condition, and provenance of luxury goods through expert examination and documentation.

A seller who acts for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft, or profession (B2C). Under EU law (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and Omnibus Directive 2019/2161), sales by traders to consumers trigger the mandatory 14-day right of withdrawal. Sellers must declare this status when listing.
A seller who is not acting in a commercial capacity (C2C). The 14-day "cooling-off" right of withdrawal under EU law does not apply to consumer-to-consumer sales. The sale is final unless the item is not as described or otherwise fails the legal guarantee of conformity.
Any content uploaded, posted, or submitted by users, including listings, photos, reviews, messages, and profile information.
Items that are illegal, counterfeit, stolen, restricted, or otherwise prohibited from sale on the platform.
Professional assessment and authentication of luxury goods by qualified specialists in specific categories.

Each Digital Passport captures expert review notes, authentication media, ownership transfers, and transaction history, and is accessible to the current owner through their GLINT account and to the public via a unique verification link.

If you are a professional company, you must also provide:
GLINT operates an internal KYC verification programme that we run directly using a combination of automated document analysis, liveness and selfie checks, proof-of-address review, and human review by GLINT staff. Where we rely on narrowly-scoped third-party data sub-processors (for example, cloud hosting, OCR, or face-match providers), the authoritative and up-to-date list is maintained in our Privacy Policy. By agreeing to these Terms you consent to your personal data being processed by GLINT and those listed sub-processors for the sole purpose of identity verification, fraud prevention and AML compliance, and to the receipt of verification outcomes back from those providers to GLINT.
GLINT's verification system combines automated analysis (document authenticity checks, data-field extraction, and face-match against a live selfie) with a human review step performed by GLINT's compliance team. Where narrowly-scoped data sub-processors are used (see our Privacy Policy for the authoritative list), verification documents and biometric samples are transmitted over encrypted channels, retained only as long as permitted under our Privacy Policy, and are not used by those sub-processors for any purpose other than providing the specific service (e.g. OCR or face-match) back to GLINT.
For professional sellers and high-value transactions, GLINT conducts enhanced verification including:
Submit required documents through secure portal
AI-powered initial verification (2-5 minutes)
Expert verification team assessment (2-24 hours)
Final compliance and accuracy check
Account activated with appropriate tier access
GLINT operates with different access levels. Each level governs what a user can do on the platform; it is separate from the optional paid membership tiers described in Section 6.3 below, which affect fees and perks but not access.
Full (Verified Member) access is subject to our KYC and approval process. We reserve the right to deny or suspend membership at our sole discretion, consistent with applicable law.
In addition to the access levels above, GLINT may offer optional paid membership tiers (e.g. Bronze, Silver, Gold) that modify commission rates, buyer perks, or seller tooling. The current list of tiers, their pricing, and the exact commission schedule that applies to your account are displayed in your dashboard at Settings → Fees and are authoritative for your transactions. References elsewhere in these Terms to headline commission percentages (including Section 8.5) are indicative defaults only and may be superseded by the rates shown in your dashboard and at checkout.
GLINT operates as a marketplace platform facilitating transactions between independent buyers and sellers. The following clearly defines the responsibilities and limitations of each party.
GLINT acts solely as an intermediary marketplace platform. We do not:
All transactions occur directly between independent buyers and sellers:
BY USING GLINT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE:
All items listed must be authentic luxury goods. You warrant that:
The following items are prohibited:
All listings must meet GLINT's quality standards to ensure the best experience for buyers and maintain marketplace integrity.
If a listing is rejected due to insufficient photos or quality standards, sellers will receive comprehensive feedback to ensure successful resubmission.
Our rigorous listing standards ensure:
We use Stripe for payment processing. All transactions are subject to Stripe's terms of service. At checkout you pay the item price, any buyer service fee, and shipping as shown there—card processing is absorbed by GLINT and is not added as a separate line on your bill (we may still model processor costs internally for operations and finance). Actual processor pricing varies by corridor (for example UK domestic, EEA, or cross-border with FX). We support major credit and debit cards.
Payment failure or abandoned checkout: If payment fails (e.g. card declined) or is abandoned before completion, the order may be cancelled. No escrow is created and no shipment is initiated until payment is successfully completed.
For any single transaction of 50,000 or more in the listing currency (e.g. USD, GBP, or EUR; the threshold is evaluated in the listing's own major unit — so this applies equally to zero-decimal currencies such as JPY or KRW), payment must be made by bank transfer only. Card payments are not accepted for orders at or above this threshold. Accepted bank transfer methods include ACH / US bank account (USD), Bacs Direct Debit (GBP) and SEPA Direct Debit (EUR), as made available at checkout. This threshold is configured in platform settings; the figure displayed at checkout is authoritative for that transaction.
GLINT utilizes Stripe Connect to facilitate secure, compliant transactions between buyers and sellers. This system provides:
To sell on GLINT, sellers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding, which includes:
Sellers can choose from multiple payout methods:
1-2 business days processing
Full fraud protection, automated compliance, direct bank payout
2-5 business days processing
Payouts to verified bank account through Stripe Connect
Before you complete a payment, checkout shows separate lines for what you owe: typically the item price, any buyer service fee, and shipping where applicable. Card processing is not charged to you as a separate line. What you owe is always the totals shown there for that checkout—not summaries in these Terms alone.
Buyers: you pay the agreed item price, plus any buyer service fee we show, plus shipping where applicable. You do not pay Stripe card fees as an added checkout line—GLINT absorbs those. Sellers: a seller commission is deducted from the item price; you receive the listing price minus that commission. Card processing is not deducted from your payout as a separate seller line. Payouts to your bank may still incur a separate withdrawal fee as described below.
The numbers below are default platform settings. Admins may change them, and certain accounts use tier-specific seller rates shown in your dashboard—in every case your checkout screen, seller payout breakdown, and Settings → Fees (for sellers) take priority over these Terms when they differ.
Taxes: VAT, sales tax, or similar may apply depending on jurisdiction; they appear only when we have integrated calculation and checkout displays them—they are not implied by the percentages above unless shown at payment.
These rates are configurable in platform settings and may change from time to time. The figure displayed at checkout is authoritative for that transaction. Fees cover:
GLINT places a refundable 8% deposit hold on your payment method for each bid, to ensure serious intent and to guarantee payment if you win. See Section 22 for the full deposit lifecycle.
GLINT supports multi-currency transactions. Sellers may list items in their local currency (e.g. USD, GBP, EUR, AED, JPY) and buyers pay in the listing currency. Currency conversion, where applicable, is handled by Stripe at the prevailing exchange rate and may incur costs borne by GLINT or embedded in processor pricing rather than shown as a separate buyer line (Section 8.5). Minimum transaction amounts and maximum limits apply as determined by payment processors and regulatory requirements.
To sell on GLINT, all sellers must complete our comprehensive verification process, which includes:
GLINT utilizes Stripe Connect Express accounts for all seller transactions. This provides:
GLINT's proprietary identity verification system ensures secure and compliant seller onboarding through advanced document analysis, biometric verification, and comprehensive background checks:
Full name, address, date of birth, nationality, contact details
Government-issued ID, passport or driver's license with real-time validation
Live selfie matching with anti-spoofing technology
Automated and manual review with immediate notification
KYC data shared only with the narrowly-scoped sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy, and solely for identity, fraud and AML checks.
Average 2-hour verification vs. 24-48 hours with external services
Tailored specifically for high-value luxury goods transactions
Seller accounts can have different statuses based on verification completion:
Cannot create listings until KYC and Stripe Connect onboarding are complete
Can create listings but may have payout restrictions until additional verification is complete
Full access to all selling features including immediate payouts and high-value transactions
Sellers must maintain compliance with:
GLINT reserves the right to suspend or restrict seller accounts that:
Appeal Process:
Sellers may appeal account restrictions by contacting our support team with additional documentation or clarification. Appeals are reviewed within 5-7 business days, and decisions are based on compliance requirements and platform safety.
GLINT operates a conditional-release payment flow that functions as commercial escrow: buyer funds are received and held centrally by GLINT (via our payment processor, Stripe Inc.) until the conditions in these Terms for release to the seller are satisfied. GLINT is not a bank or a licensed escrow agent and does not hold itself out as one. The Glint Escrow Account Policy exists to protect buyers and sellers by controlling when and how funds move, with specific provisions for EU / UK consumer protection laws (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, the Omnibus Directive 2019/2161, and the Consumer Rights Act 2015) and for transactions involving professional (trader) sellers.
GLINT maintains different escrow policies based on seller classification to ensure compliance with international consumer protection laws, particularly the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Omnibus Directive (2019/2161). Sellers must declare whether they are a trader (professional) or non-trader (private); buyers are informed on the product and checkout pages whether the 14-day right of withdrawal applies.
Initial custody: The buyer pays the full order total (item price + buyer service fee + shipping, and any other buyer-facing fees itemised at checkout) to GLINT via Stripe. Card processing is not a separate buyer line (see Section 8.5). Funds are received into the GLINT Stripe account and recorded in the order's escrow record with the status held.
Conditional hold: Funds remain in custody with GLINT while the item is shipped, delivered, and the buyer's inspection / withdrawal period runs. During this time the seller has no ability to withdraw them.
Release to seller: When the applicable release condition is met (see 10.2), GLINT deducts the seller commission (platform fee on the item) and initiates a Stripe transfer of the remaining balance to the seller's Stripe Connect account. Card processing is settled by GLINT and is not deducted from the seller's payout as a separate line. From there the seller may initiate a payout to their bank.
Refunds: If a refund is owed to the buyer (withdrawal under 10.x, damage claim, dispute resolution) before release to the seller, GLINT refunds the buyer directly. If the refund is owed after release, GLINT will use reasonable means to recover the transferred amount from the seller's Connect balance and/or the seller directly.
What this is and isn't: GLINT provides commercial escrow — contractual custody of funds on buyer and seller's behalf pending performance of the sale — not banking or deposit-taking. GLINT is not authorised or regulated as a bank. Funds are held in the GLINT Stripe account at Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. / Stripe Inc. (depending on your region) and are not covered by any deposit-guarantee scheme.
Buyer pays the full order total to GLINT via Stripe.
Funds sit in the GLINT Stripe account with an escrow held status.
Item is shipped to the buyer with carrier tracking.
Buyer has 48 hours from delivery to approve or report an issue. EU / UK consumer buyers additionally have a 14-day right of withdrawal against professional sellers.
GLINT deducts seller commission and transfers the net amount to the seller's Stripe Connect account.
Seller initiates a payout from their Connect balance to their bank account via Stripe.
Every buyer payment is recorded against an order-level escrow record with an explicit status (held, released_to_seller, refunded_to_buyer, disputed). GLINT tracks these amounts separately from platform revenue so the amount owed to each seller and refundable to each buyer is always known.
Funds are never released to the seller until the applicable trigger in 10.2 fires. Sellers cannot request an earlier release.
If a dispute is opened, the escrow record moves to disputed and release is paused until resolution. Stripe's built-in chargeback process continues to apply at the card-network level.
GLINT's role is intermediary. We do not take principal risk on the sale: we pass the buyer's payment to the seller only after release conditions are met, minus the seller commission and any other amounts reflected in your seller payout breakdown (Section 8.5).
Automated server-side workflows (Stripe Connect + GLINT orchestration) move funds between escrow, the seller, and the platform according to the events logged in your order history. This is not a blockchain or smart-contract system — see Section 12 for details on how Digital Passports are implemented.
Up to 2-year holding period in US for complex transactions
Buyers have a 14 calendar day window to request returns/refunds when purchasing from professional sellers based in the UK or EU (per EU Consumer Rights Directive).
Buyers have a 48-hour inspection period to approve or report issues; funds are released 7 days after delivery if no issues for individual sellers and non-EU transactions.
In cases requiring refunds:
Transfer Reversal: Funds returned from seller's Connect account to platform account
Buyer Refund: Original payment method refunded through Stripe
Platform Fee: Platform fees may be retained depending on refund reason
Escrow Service Information:
GLINT provides comprehensive authentication services through qualified experts and advanced technology to ensure the authenticity and quality of luxury goods on our platform.
All high-value items (>$5,000) undergo preliminary authentication review before listing approval.
Items over $10,000 require comprehensive image verification by certified experts using seller-provided documentation.
Advanced technology supplements expert evaluation for enhanced accuracy.
Items that have undergone comprehensive expert assessment and evaluation.
Items from trusted sellers with proven track records.
Authenticated pre-owned items with condition assessment.
Rare or vintage items with historical significance.
While GLINT employs industry-leading authentication methods, we acknowledge that:
GLINT's Digital Passport is a centralized digital certificate of authenticity issued and maintained by GLINT for every item that completes the authentication and delivery process. Each passport records the item's specifications, expert review, authentication media, and ownership history in GLINT's secure database and is accessible to the current owner from their GLINT account and to the public via a unique verification link and QR code. The passport is not a blockchain token, cryptocurrency, NFT, or security, and does not grant any rights beyond those described here.
Upon successful transaction completion and buyer receipt confirmation, GLINT automatically issues a Digital Passport for the item.
Each Digital Passport contains comprehensive item information and authentication data.
Digital Passports include configurable return windows that comply with regional consumer protection laws.
14 calendar day return window as required by EU/UK consumer protection laws
7-day return window (configurable per transaction)
Return window based on local consumer protection laws
Within the return window, Digital Passports remain in "active" status.
When a return is initiated within the return window, the passport status changes to "returned".
In cases of fraud, counterfeiting, or disputed returns, GLINT reserves the right to revoke a passport.
After the return window expires without return, passports are automatically finalized.
Digital Passports are issued and maintained centrally by GLINT rather than as blockchain tokens. This keeps verification free for end users, avoids gas fees and wallet requirements, and lets GLINT respond quickly to fraud, counterfeiting, and return disputes. It also keeps passports fully compatible with consumer-protection regulations (e.g. chargebacks, returns, and data-subject rights).
Buyers access their passport through their GLINT account — no crypto wallet, seed phrase, or network configuration needed.
If a passport is issued in error or a counterfeit is later detected, GLINT can mark the passport as revoked so the public verification page reflects the correct status.
Sensitive information (price paid, buyer identity) is only visible to the owner, not to random third parties who scan the QR code.
Because ownership is recorded in GLINT's system, it can be adjusted to reflect refunds, chargebacks, or court-ordered transfers — something that is difficult to do on a public blockchain.
No crypto, no NFT. The Digital Passport is not a cryptocurrency, token, or security, and ownership of a passport does not confer any on-chain rights. GLINT may evolve the technical implementation over time, but this section describes the system as currently operated.
Once a Digital Passport is issued for your purchase, you can view and share it through your GLINT account. Anyone with the verification link or QR code can see the public authenticity record for the item, but sensitive ownership details remain private to you.
Log into your GLINT account.
Open "My Purchases" or "Digital Passports" in your dashboard.
View the certificate, download a PDF copy, or share the public verification link / QR code.
Access the full authentication report, images, and ownership history associated with your item.
Each Digital Passport exposes two layers of information:
Ownership history is logged in append-only audit records that GLINT cannot retroactively rewrite without a traceable change log.
Publicly accessible authentication data viewable worldwide via link or QR code.
Verified authenticity increases confidence in secondary-market transactions on GLINT.
Digital certificates can be used to support insurance claims and valuations.
Unique identifiers and authentication media deter counterfeiting and duplication.
No wallets, seed phrases, or gas fees. Buyers and sellers keep the full protections of consumer law.
GLINT uses ARTA to provide comprehensive luxury shipping services with full insurance coverage included on all parcels. ARTA offers real-time rate comparison across multiple carriers, automated label generation, white-glove delivery options, and comprehensive package tracking with webhook-based real-time updates.
Our platform supports shipping through major carriers, including but not limited to:
Express & Ground
All Services
Priority & Express
International
GLINT uses ARTA for all shipping services, providing premium luxury shipping with full insurance coverage included on all shipments. ARTA offers:
Note: ARTA manages all carrier relationships and provides optimized rates. Sellers do not need to connect their own carrier accounts.
Our platform includes advanced address management features:
ARTA Address Handling:
ARTA estimates the closest address for quoting using Google APIs and validates addresses during booking using carrier APIs. This ensures accurate delivery while providing immediate rate estimates.
Sellers are required to ship items within the timeframe specified in their listing, typically within 1-3 business days of payment confirmation. The platform displays a ship-by date for each order; sellers must ship by that date (or within the stated timeframe) unless otherwise agreed with the buyer or GLINT.
GLINT allows a maximum of 2 business days delay beyond the promised shipping date before implementing our delay management process.
Seller Communication Obligations:
International transactions require additional documentation and may be subject to customs duties and taxes.
Our integrated tracking system provides:
Buyers have a 48-hour inspection period after delivery to approve the order or report issues. If the buyer does not respond within 48 hours, the order is auto-approved. Buyers must confirm receipt or report issues within 48 hours to initiate escrow release process.
All items have a 48-hour inspection period after delivery to approve or report issues; escrow funds are released to the seller upon buyer approval or automatically 7 days after delivery (or 14 calendar days for EU/UK professional sellers) if no issues are reported.
Any shipping damage must be reported within 24 hours with photographic evidence for insurance claims.
If no issues are reported within the 48-hour inspection period, the buyer may approve to release funds immediately; otherwise escrow funds are automatically released 7 days after delivery (or 14 calendar days for EU/UK professional sellers) if no issues reported.
For eligible returns, GLINT provides comprehensive return shipping through ARTA:
Return Process: Returns are handled as new ARTA shipments with origin and destination reversed, ensuring the same premium shipping experience and insurance coverage for return items.
Insurance Requirements:
GLINT complies with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Omnibus Directive (2019/2161). As an intermediary that does not take physical possession of items, our obligations depend on the legal status of the seller and on transparency toward buyers. We ensure buyers know exactly who they are dealing with and whether the 14-day right of withdrawal applies.
Under EU Directive 2023/2673, from 19 June 2026 we provide an easily accessible "Withdrawal" button (not buried in settings) so that consumers can cancel a contract with a professional seller as easily as they entered into it. This applies to all transactions where the seller is a trader.
Return shipping costs in case of withdrawal are borne by the buyer (the party exercising the right of withdrawal).
Automatic Application: When you purchase from a professional seller as an EU/UK consumer, the 14-day withdrawal right applies automatically. For private sellers, the 14-day "change of mind" right does not apply under EU law; see 14.0a for "not as described" and legal guarantee rights.
Even when buying from a private seller, the 14-day "change of mind" right does not apply under EU law. However, the legal guarantee of conformity always applies: if the item is defective, counterfeit, or not as described, the buyer has a right to a refund or other redress. Since GLINT holds funds in escrow, we act as a trusted third party and will not release funds to the seller when a valid "not as described" or conformity claim is upheld. Releasing funds despite a defective or misdescribed item could expose the platform to liability for failing to provide the protection we offer.
Returns for items with Digital Passports are tracked in GLINT's centralized passport system, so the certificate accurately reflects the current state of the item and transaction at all times.
GLINT offers a comprehensive return policy that complies with European Union consumer protection regulations while ensuring fair treatment for all parties in luxury goods transactions.
In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, GLINT provides enhanced consumer protection for EU residents purchasing from professional sellers.
30-day return guarantee
14 calendar day withdrawal right
7-day authentication only
Return requests may only be submitted after the order has been delivered and delivery has been recorded on the platform. Eligibility is calculated from the delivery date: EU/UK consumer buyers purchasing from professional (trader) sellers benefit from the statutory 14-calendar-day withdrawal window; for other eligible professional-seller purchases outside that scope, GLINT applies a 3-calendar-day good-faith return request window, as configured in our platform. Private (C2C) sales follow Section 14.0 and 14.0a above.
Submit return request through platform
GLINT reviews return request and reason
Return authorization and shipping label provided
Item inspected upon receipt
Refund processed to original payment method
Return deadlines: Once a return is approved and a shipping label is provided, the buyer has 48 hours to ship the return. Upon receipt, the seller has 48 hours to confirm receipt. These deadlines are enforced to ensure timely processing.
Consequences of missed deadlines: If the buyer does not ship the return within 48 hours, the return may be closed and escrow released to the seller. If the seller does not confirm receipt within 48 hours, the refund may be processed automatically in the buyer's favor.
For items with Digital Passports, each stage of a return is recorded against the certificate so the passport, escrow, and order records stay in sync.
For EU/UK 14-day returns (per EU Consumer Rights Directive, or when a return is approved within 14 days for UK/EU buyers from any professional seller), buyers receive a full refund of the amount paid. GLINT absorbs payment processing fees (e.g. Stripe fees) in these cases; the buyer is refunded the total amount without deduction for payment processing.
Buyers are not charged a separate card-processing line at checkout (Section 8.5). Refunds generally return what you paid (item, buyer service fee, and shipping, per policy). EU/UK 14-day returns remain a full refund without deduction for platform-absorbed card costs (see above).
For certain high-value categories, GLINT requires a Letter of Intent (LOI) process to ensure serious buyer interest and facilitate proper transaction management. This process applies to Art, Jets, and Yachts based on seller preference.
The LOI process serves multiple purposes:
Sellers listing items in Art, Jets, or Yachts categories can configure whether an LOI is required:
On the product page, the LOI option may appear as "Submit letter of intent" or similar wording.
Buyers can request GLINT's professional shopping service to facilitate the transaction:
Buyers can submit LOI directly to the seller:
A complete Letter of Intent includes:
GLINT implements comprehensive compliance measures for high-value transactions to ensure regulatory compliance, prevent fraud, and maintain marketplace integrity. Transactions above £50,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) trigger mandatory compliance verification.
Automatic Activation: When a buyer attempts to purchase an item valued at £50,000 or more, the High-Value Transaction Compliance system automatically activates. The transaction cannot proceed until the compliance questionnaire is completed and approved.
Buyers must complete a comprehensive 9-section questionnaire covering all aspects of the transaction:
For some transactions the platform may collect questionnaire information only, with document requests at the platform's discretion.
Required documents:
Acceptable documents (dated within last 3 months):
Buyers must declare and provide documentation for:
Buyers must specify primary purpose:
Buyers must declare any prior relationship:
Payment method confirmation:
Buyers must acknowledge that:
Buyers must consent to:
Buyer completes the compliance questionnaire through the secure platform interface. Where required, the platform may also request document uploads.
The platform may approve submissions automatically where appropriate. When a full compliance review is required, the GLINT compliance team reviews all submitted information and documents; typical review time in such cases is 3-5 business days.
Upon approval, transaction proceeds normally. If additional information is needed, buyer will be notified.

Users can manage their notification preferences through their account settings:
Important: While users can customize many notification preferences, certain security, legal, and transactional notifications are mandatory to ensure platform safety and regulatory compliance.
GLINT provides comprehensive dispute resolution services to ensure fair and efficient resolution of conflicts between buyers and sellers.
Disputes are treated according to type: "Not as described" (defective, counterfeit, or materially different from the listing) gives the buyer a right to refund or redress against any seller under the legal guarantee of conformity (see Section 14.0a). "Change of mind" (withdrawal) is only available when buying from a professional seller within the 14-day period (B2C). Our dispute process and escrow release follow these distinctions.
Significant discrepancies between listing and received item; applies to all sellers (legal guarantee of conformity). May result in refund from escrow.

GLINT operates a tiered access system to maintain marketplace exclusivity and security while providing appropriate access levels for different user types.
Registered users can proceed through checkout until KYC verification step
Users directed to full membership workflow via ads or links
Triggered by expert advice, portfolio, or wishlist access attempts
GLINT operates as a KYC-gated marketplace where member verification is mandatory for all transactional activities. This ensures marketplace integrity and regulatory compliance.
Important: All users must complete KYC verification through GLINT's internal identity verification system before participating in any marketplace transactions. This is a regulatory requirement for luxury goods trading and ensures the highest standards of security and compliance.
GLINT places a refundable 8% deposit hold on your payment method each time you place a bid, to ensure serious bidding intent and to guarantee payment for winning bids. The deposit is held, not charged, and is released automatically as soon as you are outbid or the auction ends without you winning. If you win, the deposit is captured and credited toward the final purchase price at checkout.
8% of each bid is held, not charged
Deposit credited toward the purchase
The deposit percentage may be adjusted platform-wide from time to time in order to account for payment-method risk and fraud patterns; the effective percentage shown at the bid-confirmation screen is authoritative for that bid.
When the auction ends, the highest valid bid constitutes your{' '} binding offer to purchase the lot at that price (plus applicable taxes, shipping, and other buyer-facing fees shown at checkout, such as the buyer service fee—Section 8.5), subject to the seller's fulfilment obligations and these Terms. You must complete payment within the deadline shown in checkout (or as communicated after the sale). If you fail to pay on time, we may cancel the transaction, apply our non-payment and deposit rules (including forfeiture or restriction of bidding privileges), and re-offer the item as permitted by law and platform rules — without prejudice to other remedies in the anti-fraud and abuse sections.
All auction activity is permanently recorded in our secure database for transparency and dispute resolution.
GLINT employs strict measures to prevent auction manipulation and ensure fair bidding practices.
GLINT maintains strict image requirements for each product category to ensure consistent quality and proper authentication capabilities.

Given GLINT's global marketplace operations and diverse user base, these Terms are governed by multiple jurisdictions to ensure comprehensive legal coverage and accessibility for international users.
GLINT employs a sophisticated multi-tier arbitration system designed to provide accessible, efficient, and fair dispute resolution across all jurisdictions.
Up to USD 25,000 (or equivalent in EUR / GBP / AED / other listed currency)
USD 25,001 – 100,000 (or local-currency equivalent)
Above USD 100,000 (or local-currency equivalent)
Thresholds are stated in US Dollars. Where a claim is denominated in another currency (EUR, GBP, AED, etc.), the equivalent value is determined using the European Central Bank reference rate on the date the claim is filed. The tier assigned at filing continues to apply for the duration of the proceeding.
The applicable jurisdiction and arbitration venue will be determined based on:
EU / UK consumers: Nothing in this dispute resolution section limits or excludes mandatory rights that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence (including non-waivable consumer protection rights). Where those laws give you the right to bring a claim in the courts of your home country, you may do so. Class-action waivers and arbitration requirements apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
MANDATORY ARBITRATION ACKNOWLEDGMENT: All users agree that in any arbitration proceeding:
WAIVER OF RIGHTS: By using GLINT, you waive any right to pursue claims against the platform for transaction outcomes, authenticity determinations, or commercial disputes between users. The platform's role is strictly limited to providing marketplace services and cannot be held liable for the commercial relationships formed between independent users.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GLINT Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers (collectively, the "GLINT Parties") from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of your account and these Terms. GLINT reserves the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate with our defence of such claims. You will not settle any such claim without GLINT's prior written consent.
Neither GLINT nor any user shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the affected party, including but not limited to:
The affected party shall use reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact and resume performance as soon as practicable. If a force majeure event continues for more than sixty (60) consecutive days, either party may terminate the affected transaction or obligation by providing written notice to the other party.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, shall be severed from these Terms. The invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any other policies or agreements expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and GLINT with respect to your use of the Service. These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements, whether electronic, oral, or written, between you and GLINT regarding the Service.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of GLINT. Any attempted assignment without such consent shall be void. GLINT may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, at any time without notice or consent, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganisation, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets.
The failure of GLINT to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. A waiver of any term shall only be effective if made in writing and signed by an authorised representative of GLINT. No waiver of any provision shall be deemed a continuing waiver or a waiver of any other provision.
Any notices or communications required or permitted under these Terms shall be given by email to the address associated with your account. Notices to GLINT shall be sent to legal@glint.club. Notices are deemed received upon transmission if sent by email during normal business hours, or on the next business day if sent outside normal business hours.
Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to create a joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship between you and GLINT. GLINT acts solely as an intermediary platform facilitating transactions between independent buyers and sellers.
The section and subsection headings in these Terms are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
